The Yorkshire Building Society Cup

The Yorkshire Building Society Cup was donated by the Yorkshire Building Society in  1985.to be played for by teams in the under sixteen age group.  This is a new trophy and age group which was proving to be more popular the under 18's. In this season 1984/85 saw the demise of under18 football and the under18 Junior Trophy was no longer played for.

This competition is mandatory for all clubs affiliated to the West Riding County F.A. within the Huddersfield and District area, who are playing their football in an under 16 years of age League/Division.

The Minor Committee may select or invite Clubs  playing football in a Junior League within the District Association's area to enter this competition, excluding Clubs who are Members of another District Associations affiliated to the West Riding County Football Association
