The McLester Junior Trophy

The McLester Junior Trophy was donated by the McLester family in 1998 in memory of two brothers William (Bill) and John who were both long serving members of this Association and dedicated to Huddersfield  Football.

John was noted for his service to this Association and also the work he did at the County  as our representative to the West Riding County Football Association..

Bill as he was affectionately known served on the Council and was Chairman of the Minor Committee

This competition is mandatory for all clubs affiliated to the West Riding County F.A. within the Huddersfield and District area, who are playing their football in an under13 years of age League/Division.

The Minor Committee may select or invite Clubs playing football in a Junior League within the District Association's area to enter this competition, excluding Clubs who are Members of another District Associations affiliated to the West Riding County Football Association.

Players must be under 13 years of age on 31st August at the start of the current season

A Club/Team playing football in the Under 13 years of age League/Division - may apply to enter the competition but is not obliged to do so.
